The Behavior Specialist works under the direction supervision of the Director of Exceptional Children and in coordination with MCS Principals.

 

Behaviorists provide direct and consultative support to students and school teams that require social-emotional and behavioral support across settings.

 

Their role is to help the IEP teams create plans to manage behaviors that affect an EC student’s learning; they work with the team to provide a comprehensive approach to behavior management that includes evaluation, data collection, interventions and regular monitoring.
